The Men's Ministry
The Men’s Ministry meet every Saturday Morning at 06h30. We have a cup of coffee and a choc chip cookie. One of us prepares a short message that we then discuss and share about. We share how our week went, we pray for our church, our minister, the leadership, worship team, the youth and Sunday School, all the activities of our church, the congregation, the sick, those in hospital the bereaved, for one another, our country and any other need that may come up. We have a great time together fellowshipping laughing, sharing a joke or two. We are seven guys who meet and we finish between 07H30 and 07H45. All men are more than welcome to join us.
The last Saturday in May, June and July 2012 we have a soup kitchen where we take soup, bread, Bibles, blankets and old clothing and share it with the needy on the streets or a specific organization where the less privileged stay ie. Salvation Army, Sannie se Kombuis ect or wherever the need arises. We leave the church at 07h30 and are normally finished between 08h45 and 09h00.
We normally have a men’s breakfast on the last Saturday morning of the month where we have a guest speaker. We do not have the breakfast in May, June, July and December.
Last month we went out to Lebone Land and experienced the great and wonderful work that Willem and Avril Snyman are doing there with homeless HIV children.
